HY2U handwashing device

Better hygiene in developing countries, especially washing hands more often, can save 2500 children's lives a day.
The Hy2U (short for Hygiene to You) is an ingenious device that can be made with a piece of cloth, a bit of wood, a bit of rubber from the inside of any old tire, and one of the plastic bags that are everywhere on every African market. The clever thing about it is the valve, which allows just enough water through when touched for washing hands, so that one bag of water is good for a hundred handwashings. Costs of the design is zero, and the design is self explanatory and easy to copy.
Field tests in Ghana (2007) and Kenia (2009) were a success. More info on www.hy2u.org
