Philippe Petit - World Trade Center

(Reader Contribution to World's Craziest Stunts)


In 1974, Philippe Petit (already known as a tight rope walker) formed an elaborate plan to tight rope walk between the two towers of the world trade center and he succeeded. It's truly an amazing tale. Check out MAN ON WIRE the documentary. It's truly an inspiration and an incredible tribute to the towers.
