The most famous battle of the war of 1812, fought two weeks after the war was over! Since news of the treaty took over a month to reach New Orleans, Andrew Jackson led American troops to arguably the most impressive, yet least decisive battle of the war. A mere 4,000 Americans defeated 11,000 Brits.
