Amazing Propaganda Posters

Propaganda is a type of message aimed at influencing the opinions or behavior of people. Instead of impartially providing information, propaganda is often deliberately misleading, using logical fallacies, that, while sometimes convincing, are not necessarily valid. During the 20th century, however, the term acquired a thoroughly negative meaning in western countries, of equalling the intentional dissemination of false, but perhaps "compelling", claims supporting or justifying nefarious political ideologies. This redefinition arose because both the Soviet Union and Germany's government under Hitler admitted explicitly to using propaganda favoring, respectively, communism and fascism, in all forms of public expression. Amazing old pictures in color

Oddly enough, the oldest known color photograph is from 1872 and it is a view of Angouleme, France, created by a "subtractive" method. In 1909, Color film was non-existent, yet in that year a photographer named Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii embarked on a photographic survey of his homeland Rusia, and captured hundreds of photos in full, vivid color. Sixty-four-year-old Thai Ngoc, known as Hai Ngoc, said he could not sleep at night after getting a fever in 1973, and has counted infinite numbers of sheep during more than 11,700 consecutive sleepless nights. Sanju Bhagat's stomach was once so swollen he looked nine months pregnant and could barely breathe. At first glance, it may look as if Bhagat had given birth.
