Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116

Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116 (pronounced "albin") was a name intended for a Swedish child who was born in 1991. The boy's parents had planned to never legally name him at all, as a protest to the naming law of Sweden.

Because the parents (Elisabeth Hallin and Lasse Diding) failed to register a name by the boy's fifth birthday, a district court in Halmstad, southern Sweden, fined the parents 5,000 kronor (US$682 at the time). Responding to the fine, the parents submitted the 43-character name in May 1996, claiming that it was "a pregnant, expressionistic development that we see as an artistic creation." The parents suggested the name be understood in the spirit of pataphysics. The court rejected the name and upheld the fine. The parents then tried to change the spelling of the name to A (also pronounced "albin") instead. Once again, the court did not approve of the name, this time because of a prohibition on one-letter naming.

John Portsmouth Football Club Westwood

John Portsmouth Football Club Westwood (born 1963) is one of the most recognisable football fans in England. He decided at school not to follow the trend, common in the televisual age, to follow a successful top-division club. Instead he made a trip to Fratton Park, home of Portsmouth F.C. and was hooked. When he left school he went to work at his father's second-hand bookshop and over time built up a sound grasp of the book trade. Simultaneously, Westwood began to attend ever-increasing numbers of "Pompey" matches. As his commitment grew, so too did his range of Portsmouth F.C themed accessories. In 1994 he changed his name, by deed poll, from J.A. Westwood to J.P.F.C. Westwood.

Despite his large size and deafening exhortations, Westwood is regarded by most fans as a symbol of passionate but non-violent commitment to his chosen team. He was even chosen to be one of the featured people in the BBC's "One Nation" Series.

Thursday October Christian

Thursday October Christian (1790 – 1831) was the first son of Fletcher Christian (leader of the mutiny on the HMAV Bounty) and his Tahitian wife Maimiti. He was conceived on Tahiti, and was the first child born on Pitcairn after the mutineers took refuge on the island. Born on a Thursday in October, he was given his unusual name because Fletcher Christian wanted his son to have "no name that will remind me of England".

Thursday married into his parents' generation. At age 16 he married Teraura (Susannah), who had been Ned Young's original consort, and was past 30 then. The ceremony was carried out with a ring that had belonged to Ned Young.

Dick Assman

Dick Assman (1934 - ) is a Saskatchewan petrol station owner whose name propelled him to celebrity status across North America in 1995. Assman, who worked at Petro-Canada's Victoria Square Mall station in Regina, was discovered by David Letterman, who was amused by his name. Assman was lavishly introduced on July 24, 1995, on The Late Show with David Letterman, where he was a nightly feature for about a month. Live field units in Canada interviewed him for the show. Over the weeks, Assman received a musical tribute from Tony Orlando, while Joe Namath declared himself an "Ass-maniac".

Vancouver polling company Angus Reid reported that 49 percent of surveyed Canadians in September 1995 had heard of his name. Assman received a number of contracts for commercial appearances, was asked to run for public office, and received many marriage proposals. Assmania came to a close in August when Assman visited the Ed Sullivan Theater and was presented with a bouquet of roses by Letterman.

Yahoo Serious

Yahoo Serious (1953 - ), originally known as Greg Pead (name-change by deed poll in 1980), is an Australian film actor and director. He is best known for his 1988 comedy, Young Einstein. He also created Reckless Kelly in 1993 and Mr. Accident in 2000. Serious writes, directs, produces, and stars in all his own movies.

In 1988, Yahoo Serious wrote, produced, and directed Young Einstein, an intentionally inaccurate movie portraying Albert Einstein as a young farmer in Tasmania who discovers rock music and surfing, romances Marie Curie, and derives the formula E=mc² while trying to discover a means of creating beer bubbles. The movie was an international hit, grossing over $100 million worldwide, and propelling Serious to stardom.

In August 2000, Yahoo Serious tried to sue the search engine Yahoo! for trademark infringement. The case was quickly thrown out because Serious could not prove that he sells products or services under the name "Yahoo," and therefore could not prove that he suffered harm or confusion due to the search engine.

World B. Free

World B. Free (born Lloyd Benjamin Free on 1953) is an American former professional basketball player who played in the NBA from 1975-1988. Free was known as the "Prince of Midair" as well as "All-World". He got his name from his days in Brooklyn, where a friend nicknamed him "World" because of his 44-inch vertical leaps and 360-degree dunks. He was known for taking high-risk shots and playing flamboyantly. On August 10, 2006, the Philadelphia 76ers announced World B. Free will assume additional duties as director of player development.

Screaming Lord Sutch

David Edward Sutch (10 November 1940 – 16 June 1999) was an English musician and politician known as Screaming Lord Sutch. Sutch was born at New End Hospital, Hampstead, North West London. In the 1960s, inspired by one of his favourite rock and roll stars, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, he changed his name to Screaming Lord Sutch, 3rd Earl of Harrow. Despite the fact that he had no connection with the peerage, the deed poll laws of England permitted this. Following a successful career as an early-'60s rock 'n' roll attraction, it became customary for the UK press and citizens to refer to him as Screaming Lord Sutch, or simply Lord Sutch.

Despite his seemingly light-hearted antics, Screaming Lord Sutch in reality suffered from periods of depression and committed suicide by hanging on June 16, 1999, following the death of his mother the previous year. At the coroner's inquest into his death, his fiancee stated that he had "manic depression". However, her descriptions, both of his symptoms and their treatment by doctors with antidepressants, suggest that Sutch suffered from clinical depression. Sutch never married, but is survived by a son, Tristan Lord Gwynne Sutch, born in 1975 to the American model Thann Rendessy.

Pedro V, King of Portugal: Pedro de Alcântara Maria Fernando Miguel Rafael Gonzaga Xavier João António Leopoldo Vítor Francisco de Assis Júlio Amélio de Saxe-Coburgo-Gotha e Bragança

Pedro V (1837 – 1861) was the 31st King of Portugal and Algarves from 1853 to 1861. He was the oldest son of Queen Maria II and her King-Consort Ferdinand II and was born after his mother's accession. As heir apparent to the throne he was styled as the 19th Duke of Braganza.

Pedro was an unusually conscientious and hard-working monarch who, under the guidance of his father, sought radical modernisation of the Portuguese state and infrastructure. Under Pedro's reign, roads, telegraphs, and railways were constructed and improvements in public health advanced. For this he was greatly loved and his popularity further increased when, during the great cholera outbreak he roamed around hospitals handing out gifts and talking and conforing the sick. However, this was unable to save the life of the young king who died (along with his brother Ferdinand and other royal family members) of cholera in 1861. He was so loved and his death along with other relatives was deemed so unnatural that there were actually revolts when he died. He was married to Princess Stephanie of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, but had no children and the throne then passed to his brother Luis.

GoldenPalace.com

On 2005, Terri Iligan, age 33, sold her name on eBay and received an offer. She will be legally named "goldenpalace.com" after the required legal work is complete. The casino owning the website paid $15,199 over the eBay auction service. She said that she got the idea when trying to find how much it would cost to send one of her children to a golf school previously attended by Tiger Woods.

Moon Unit Zappa

Moon Unit Zappa (1967) is an American actress and musician, daughter of famous Frank Zappa. Musician Frank Zappa had a penchant for giving his children unusual names. In a segment on The Tonight Show, Jay Leno asked him why he had given his children these names. His answer: "Because I wanted to." In "The Real Frank Zappa Book" he remarked, "People make a lot of fuss about my kids having such supposedly 'strange names'. But the fact is that no matter what first names I might have given them, it is the last name that is going to get them in trouble."

Ten Million

Ten Million (1889 - 1964) was a minor league baseball player who played for various teams in the Northwestern League in the years prior to World War I. He is best known for his unusual name, and for his appearance in the T212 Obak series of baseball cards. Though it is sometimes reported that Million played for the St. Louis Cardinals, no concrete, contemporary record of this has ever been found, and Million does not appear in any official record book of Major League baseball.

Adolf Lu Hitler Marak

Adolf Lu Hitler R. Marak is a politician in the state of Meghalaya, India. A member of the Nationalist Congress Party, he was forest and environment minister in the government of E.K. Mawlong and then cooperation minister under F.A. Khonglam. He lost his seat in the state assembly in the February 2003 elections. On June 27, 2003, he was arrested on charges of maintaining links with the banned militant group Achik National Volunteers' Council. He was released on bail about a month later. It may be noted that his name is not particularly curious within Meghalaya, where other local politicians are named Lenin R. Marak, Stalin L. Nangmin, Frankenstein W. Momin, or Tony Curtis Lyngdoh. Hitler Marak told the Hindustan Times: "Maybe my parents liked the name and hence christened me Hitler... I am happy with my name, although I don't have any dictatorial tendencies."

Leone Sextus Denys Oswolf Fraudatifilius Tollemache-Tollemache de Orellana Plantagenet Tollemache-Tollemache

Captain Leone Sextus Denys Oswolf Fraudatifilius Tollemache-Tollemache de Orellana Plantagenet Tollemache-Tollemache (1884 - 1917) was an officer in the British Army who died during the First World War. A common misconception is that he had the longest English surname on record, or the English surname with the most multiple barrels.

His surname at birth was "Tollemache-Tollemache", his father having doubled his original surname, "Tollemache", after his second marriage. "de Orellana" derives from his mother's Spanish ancestry and is a forename rather than part of his surname. The first "Tollemache-Tollemache" also seems to be an unusual forename. Leone was Ralph's sixth son, hence "Sextus". "Fraudatifilius" is Latin for "son of the defrauded one". "Leone" repeats a pattern seen in the names of his elder brothers and sisters (Lyonel, Lyonesse, Lyulph, Lyona, Leo, Lyonella and Lyonetta). His first five initials, "LSD OF", may include a reference to the divisions of the pre-decimal British currency, £sd, for pounds, shillings and pence. Similarly, an elder brother was named Lyulph Ydwallo Odin Nestor Egbert Lyonel Toedmag Hugh Erchenwyne Saxon Esa Cromwell Orma Nevill Dysart Plantagenet Tollemache-Tollemache - his first 15 initials spell "LYONEL THE SECOND". In practice, Leone shortened his name to "Leone Sextus Tollemache".

Byron Low Tax Looper

Byron (Low Tax) Looper (Born Byron Anthony Looper on 1964), is a former politician (Republican), who is currently an inmate in the Tennessee state penal system. In order to advance his political career, he legally changed his middle name from Anthony to "(Low Tax)".

As tax assessor, Looper used his office's equipment to flood state media with a number of bizarre and self-congratulatory press releases, though he failed repeatedly to file property tax valuations with the state government on time. Some charges were made that Looper offered reduced tax assessments to local businesses in exchange for large political contributions, although few if any businesses actually responded to the offer. Later, an ex-girlfriend sued him for child support and fraud, charging he had used his official position to steal her house.

In 1998, Looper sought the Republican nominations for the 6th Congressional District of Tennessee and the Tennessee State Senate in the same primary. He won the state senate nomination by default, however, as he was the only Republican candidate on the ballot. This set up his campaign against conservative incumbent Democratic state senator Tommy Burks. On the morning of October 19, authorities were called to investigate a likely murder at the Burks' farm. Tommy Burks' body was found with his head resting on the steering wheel of his pickup truck. Looper was convicted and sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole.
